La CORAC
Commission Regional Associations Building, 1901 law association created in 1989 is a regional network that unites scores of groups of sites. For 20 years, she defends, develops and promotes the movement of international volunteer projects in Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur as a tool for sustainable development planning.
Actions & missions
- It assists organizations with projects of local initiative wishing to organize a site.
-It implements the communication needed to develop these projects with youth and the general public, institutions, local authorities and associations,
- It organizes training sessions for facilitators sites.
- It plays an active role in regional dialogue that brings together various institutional partners (Region, Ministries and Councils) as part of the study and project financing.
The création of the network
Until 1989 a large number of associations of workcamps in the region Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur were grouped in a regional union construction sites and along the national associations organizing projects in the region were represented by the corresponding regional of Cotravaux. In 1989, the vast majority of national and regional associations decided to meet in a regional network: the Regional Committee of Associations of Workcamp.
